Dec Misc Part 2

H had a quick overnight trip to go to church and the Nutcracker with my mom

First sister refused to be in  the picture

Then this was the look she gave me. Girl is a mess!

Fun ornament exchange with James and his buddies

"I need some space!"  This is a phrase heard often at our house these days. Everyone wanting to be alone and trying to escape from each other.  My favorite is when the other kid/kids replies "I can have space with you!"

Totally normal to wear the tool kit googles around town

I suffered through bringing all four kids with me to get my flu shot on a day they were delayed for school for possible ice with temperatures that were never predicted to be below freezing. You gotta love living in the south.  The pain from the needle was nothing compared to being there for 45 mins together. To celebrate the misery we experienced at Walgreens this day everyone got to pick a snack afterwards.
Ready for the live nativity hayride. So fun but SO cold!

A week before Christmas James spiked a fever close to 105 and was diagnosed with the flu.  Thankfully he rebounded super quickly and no one else got it!

Ryan was honored at the Prostate Cancer Support group Christmas dinner.

Giving his speech. So proud of him!

Today's choice of accessories: multiple headbands

New family policy- masks for all when someone is sick.

First time roller skating

Cutie pie

I love being his Sunday school teacher this year. He has the sweetest class.

Kate and her accessories continued...

Once a year I become a Pinterest mom and fix reindeer sandwiches, edible reindeer food, and we watch Rudolph.

Ready for the movie!
All aboard this crazy train! Ready for swim lessons.

There are no words for how I will feel one day when all the kids can swim. It will be life changing!!!!

I checked on James and he was fast asleep, glasses still on, reading a book. I love that he loves to read.

Harrison's wish list for Christmas. I felt slightly guilty that he was only getting one thing on it. And when did he decide he wanted a pet?! Dream on buddy...
These two are excited for Christmas break

How precious are these presents they made for us at preschool? !

They also loved their new books that the teachers gave them. I loved that they each have the same one so no one argues about it!

A friend gave Kate a pair of Crocs with an Elsa button on them and she is obsessed. And definitely insisted on wearing them when it was 40 degrees outside.

Someone else has glasses!

So far he does not like wearing them at all and has almost lost them multiple times.

Our once a year homemade peppermint oreo ice cream.  One of our friends makes it and it is so yummy!

We had a parent fail and signed all four kids up for a dentist appointment and then realized we never added A and K to our dental insurance. So it looks like they will be four before they ever get to go but I still had the joy of bringing them all by myself to the 8 a.m. appointment with J and H.

How sweet is this though???

Hat day at school

Stopping by to see Daddy at work

Helping decorate the office tree

The sweet ladies who work there always pass out treats

Another trip to Target. I wish I had video taped them the whole time. They went crazy over the Christmas decoration section- talking a mile a minute! Andrew also insisted on wearing that hat because "I might be a little bit cold mom".

Kate ended up with a new hat and mittens

Pajama day for the last day before break

Kate loves pretend play. This day she was my doctor helping my hurt foot.

Playing with the new marble run

Aunt Whitney won Bingo on Christmas Eve and let Kate pick a prize. She was very proud to choose these new flip flops.

Jenga!

Harrison won a free Panera kids meal so I took him on a lunch date over the break.  He insisted on wearing his pajamas all day almost every day off of school.

Winter version of eating at the club. A whole new low for this mama!

Ryan's nurse gave us a popcorn popper and lots of snacks along with a new dvd for a fun movie night.

Happy to read for hours

Riding bikes at the new park

Slightly band aid obsessed

"Mom can I wear these shoes to church?"

According to my apple watch I have been very stressed this December. Here's to a more relaxing New Year!
