Disney On Ice

I have been wanting to do a special trip with Andrew and Kate and when I saw that Disney on Ice was coming I knew it would be a fun adventure! Mom and I decided to go the day before so they could stay at a hotel and we could check out all the Christmas decorations at the mall. We ended up having a blast!

I cracked up looking at these mini cribs, "our hotel beds" that they slept in.  Am I the only mom who refuses to let her children out of cribs???  For the record they slept all night long in them without a peep!

Time for the mall!

Captivated by the cakes
Andrew in particular LOVES Christmas lights and decorations so he was thrilled.

We stopped at the Lego store to do some Christmas shopping for the big brothers

We  walked into the Disney store and Kate was hooked. I think she would have looked for an hour.

Andrew on the other hand went right for the tv

Favorite mall activity: riding up and down the escalator!

Things started going downhill at the North Face store

Next stop was the candy store.  It was a dream for this sugar loving girl.

Next we met Sara for dinner!

Time to head back to the hotel for the complimentary snacks and happy hour where apparently they also provide apple juice much to these kiddos delight.

Story time with Nene

She reads stories in a way that always makes the kids completely engaged.

Back at the house these three were having fun!

The next morning we were first at the buffet for breakfast in our pjs.  They loved getting to pick from all the food.

We were surprised when Mrs. Claus showed up and did balloon animals!

Has anyone ever been more thrilled to receive a balloon Rudolph???

Hooray!
Then Santa showed up!

"Hi Santa!"

Kate has a nice choke hold on Andrew

We were excited that Malli and Ashley came to play for a bit

Nene had brought festive necklaces

"Give me a hug!"

Time for the show- they loved it!

Greer and Georgia came too which was great!

When the Frozen portion started I think I heard every little girl say "ah!"

We had a few minor meltdowns as we tried to get back to the car. Everyone always wants Mama to hold them, it was nap time, but I'm past the point of carrying 70 pounds of kids. It's hard to walk with little kids that far and with so many other people around. Thankfully we made it!

Sign of a fun weekend
