The next morning we were up bright and early and were at Animal Kingdom before it opened. This is one of those perks of having kids who are early risers!
Somehow the very first thing we did was ride the big roller coaster. I was SO proud of James because he was really scared but still wanted to do it. |
We survived! |
Harrison was TICKED that he did not meet the height requirement. |
Next we checked out some animals |
We took turns playing all the instruments |
Before long it was time for brunch at Tusker House. While we were waiting James got to play Mancala with the Disney worker |
This was a great meal! We got to have breakfast and lunch food and see several characters. It also was a nice mid-morning break |
At one point all the characters do a dance party that you can join in. Neither boy would participate but... |
Nene decided to jump in! |
From there we went to the safari ride which the boys loved |
After that Harrison wanted to ride the Dinosaur ride. I KNEW that he would be scared on it but he was bound and determined to ride something scary that James wouldn't do. |
I think he kept his eyes closed the entire ride. I admit it was a little much for a four year old |
Time for an ice cream break! Even their ice cream choices show their differences. |
Next we saw the Finding Nemo musical |
At this point we had been there a long time and decided to call it a day. I felt bad because James and I had fast passes for something really neat that night but I also knew if we were going to make it a full day at Magic Kingdom tomorrow we needed some down time. |
We made it back to the hotel and hung out for a bit, ate dinner, and then went outside because James was dying to do the "Just Dance" activity. The blog may not show it but I got a great video of Nene doing her first whip and nae nae :) |
