Fun Day with A and K

This past weekend the big boys got to have time with Nana and Pop at the beach which gave Ryan and I an opportunity to have some special time with Andrew and Kate. We had the best day together! It has been a long time since we were able to have that much of a chunk of time with only them but every time we are in that situation Ryan and I joke about how easy it feels to have "just twins" :) 

The weather was GORGEOUS!  We started off our day with a walk to the park to play and feed the turtles. 

Kate was kind and shared her extra. 

It's not very often you get to swing on the tire swing all by yourself 

Andrew kept collecting sticks. I had a flashback of James at this age doing the exact same thing. 

We went to the gym for me to do a quick workout and when I picked them up Kate was marching around in these cow pants! 

We ate a picnic lunch and played at the park there. 

After nap time we headed downtown (In Daddy's car which is always a treat for them) and went to the train show.  They both enjoyed it but Andrew REALLY loved it. 

 

Next we went to chick fi a for an early dinner and we got to sit on the big kid chairs!  Normally I have to put them strapped in high chairs so they can't escape.  

We came home for baths and then we went upstairs to "Daddy's room" and let them watch 30 mins of Moana which they also loved.  It was such a great day!  

Meanwhile at the beach the boys were playing some ping pong with Pop

And playing on the new swing set 

They even caught some crabs! Great weekend for all!
