June Misc

So many pictures- so much going on!

James's school had awards day and he came home with these.  I laughed that he got the music award because the kid is completely tone deaf.
I love that parents don't come to these assemblies but the school still posts pictures for us to have

The last day and a half of school was insanely crazy and jam packed and this kid woke up with a huge swollen eye. I ended up texting our pediatrician and pleading for her to tell me he didn't need to be seen because "I just really don't have time to bring him in today."  Thankfully she said he was fine! :)

The littles were already done with preschool so we came and had lunch with James. A and K thought they were hot stuff with the big kids.
Even Ryan made it!

"Hey mom, maybe you should take my picture since I'm about to go to this school"

Daddy's helpers

Three out of four are into tree climbing these days

Last day of 1st grade!

We had a request to eat snack in the driveway in the beach tent.

After school let out just about everyone headed for the pool to kick off summer. Harrison was finally brave enough to jump off the diving board! I made him use his life jacket just in case this first time but he has been doing it all by himself ever since. So proud of him!

That afternoon he headed to the beach with Nana and Pop for some one on one time and he soaked up life as an only child.

Nana even let him paint a chair.

I took the other three to Greenville for the day and this picture shows Kate's thoughts on riding in the car.  We are definitely in the thick of the terrible 2's around here.

We were excited to see Davis and Rebecca and Sara for a bit!

James has been begging for me to let him cook more all by himself and he was adamant that he needed to make cookies on this day.

Fun at the youth group reunion

First trip to the pool with all four this summer

I looked everywhere for an orange book bag and this was the best I could find. I also definitely cried taking this picture!
"Bye Daddy!"

My post office helpers

"Mom, can we go to Publix? And drive the car? And get a free cookie?"

Working on his summer homework

We have had some weeks of miserably hot weather so we have been trying to think of things to do inside. This day we met our friends at the pet shop and then went to Chick fil a for dinner. I felt a little sorry for the animals on this day with what these kids put them through!

After dinner Britney and I looked at each other and said, "Oh my goodness this was so much better now than a year ago."   Apparently four 2 year olds, 2 five year olds, and a 7 year old is easier than four 1 year olds, 2 four year olds, and a six year old. 😂
A night out celebrating the new cancer center and somehow we made the magazine lol.

Hooray for homemade Popsicles!

Coffee and a cookie with this cutie after his five year old well check.  I was so proud of him because he broke off three pieces to take home to share with his siblings without any prompting.
"Mommy I stayed in my bed!" lol- thank goodness for the bed tent

Beach time!

Total sweetness

Family selfie- but wait where's Andrew???

I would love to know what they were talking about

Thanks to the random stranger for this family photo!
"Let us out!"

Twin competition over who gets to sit with James

I opened the door to find this guy who had stripped down to his Christmas boxers at some point in the car and the first words out of his mouth were "Mom, have you forgotten that my real name is precious angel?  You can call me that."

"Take my picture too Mom. CHEESE!!!"

See you later dad!
