Easter Weekend

We were so excited to get to have my parents, David, Greer, and Georgia all come to our house for Easter weekend. It was fun getting to host and not have to travel!

When David, Greer, and Georgia showed up the cousins had the sweetest reunion ever. These pictures do not do it justice. There are no words for how much these boys love their baby cousin!

James has gotten much better at holding her
I'm pretty crazy about her as well!
The weather was beautiful so we just spent the afternoon outside.

This child is obsessed with bubbles

H was slightly jealous of GiGi (as he calls her). He insisted on sitting in this thing instead of her.
That Friday night my parents babysat all three kids and David, Greer, Ryan, and I got to go eat a nice dinner downtown. Such a treat!

The next morning the boys were super excited waiting for Georgia to wake up. Being the good baby that she is she gets up about 2 hours after my children!

We took a trip to the mall to see the Easter bunny
And we enjoyed another beautiful day outside!

Just having a little tummy time together
Oh Harrison!
We cooked dinner at home and James and my mom made us a fabulous cake for dessert
The next morning was Easter! My parents had to get back to their church but David, Greer, and Georgia stayed and went with us.

My boys were super excited about these baskets. I asked James what his favorite thing was and he said his new battery operated toothbrush. It really doesn't take much to excite them.

I don't think they were crazy about their bunny ears

Harrison attempted to comfort Georgia

Ready for church

Attempt at the family picture

Someone loves his Uncle David!
That afternoon it was just the four of us again. We went to the park on the river to see the ducks and then out for some family pizza.

It was a great weekend!

Egg Hunts

We have had a lot of fun at our Easter egg hunts this year. We started off with the annual Easter egg hunt at Nana's house. She always does such a good job putting it together!

Brave Nana for letting us dye eggs!

Time to find the eggs!

So glad Daniel could come with his parents to the hunt

Harrison wanted nothing to do with picking up eggs this year.

I told H to give D a hug and this was what he did

We were so glad Aunt Whitney and Uncle Rod were in town for the weekend
I love these pictures that Rod took of the boys.

I'm not so sure about this kid, lol.

The next week both kids had egg hunts at people's houses for preschool. Harrison's was first and it was pretty comical to watch him with his friends.

This was the inside of the play house- so neat!
How cute is this play house? It had carpet and everything!

Circle time outside

H picked up exactly one egg
He just was not into it. He kept saying, "home home" and trying to walk to the car
I thought this was funny. Instead of using baskets the kids worked together to put all the eggs into a clothes basket. Then they were given their baskets at the end with five eggs in each.

A couple of days later it was James's turn.
Super fun activity. Throwing eggs filled with paint at a canvas.

Sack race

Both class egg hunts were fun but I have to say James's was way less stressful!
