Creech Christmas

After naps/Christmas morning recovery we loaded up to head to the beach.  We are at the stage where travel with A and K is a toss up. Sometimes they do fine and others times it's horrible and this trip fell into the later category.  We were driving separate because Ryan had to come back for work so after stopping on the side of the road for a potty break he graciously took those two for the last bit of the drive.

As much as I love a cute longall I have to admit it's not practical for bathroom purposes, especially when you are in the middle of nowhere on Christmas day.
We made it to the beach and my mom had the kids' dinner all ready. Chicken nuggets, fruit, and Nene bread Christmas tree rolls. Pound cake for Jesus's birthday cake. Needless to say they were all thrilled.

I can't remember what exactly she was saying here about Jesus and the cake but they were CAPTIVATED!  A and K also are obsessed with singing the birthday song so we actually got to sing to Jesus twice. :)

Sweet Vivi just chilling on the sidelines

We got the little kids to bed, the big kids in front of a movie and then the adults got to relax and eat.

Steak, potato casserole, Nene bread, salad, and crab dip as an appetizer. Yum!

Kate was absolutely obsessed with Vivienne on this trip
Movie time

Vivienne's first Christmas

Nothing like pajamas and the couch after a big meal

The next morning we did our present opening

Kate loved her twin baby dolls

And her new rainboots

As well as her pretend lipstick.  Girl was in her element!

After the kids opened their presents we took a break for some playtime on the beach. It was so cold!

During nap time for the littles the adults got to do our present exchange

James once again came to give the gifts he had for everyone

This kid has the biggest heart!

I looked over and James was showing Vivi her new picture book and telling her about everyone in the family

Kate went crazy for her new doll stroller.  She was so proud to push that thing and good luck to any other child who tried to touch it.  This girl is tough!

I told my mom she had to have twin babies and a double stroller since that is the life she lives!

I took Andrew for a quick minute to "see ocean."

When we got back somehow the house fire alarm went off and the fire truck arrived before we could tell them not to come.  The firemen gave all the kids hats. Always something exciting going on!

Ryan unfortunately had to leave late that afternoon.  We had pizza that night and David suggested that I go pick it up so I could be alone and get out of the house.  He didn't have to tell me twice!  He sent me these sweet pictures while I was gone.
At first I thought Kate was holding her new baby doll and then I realized it was Vivi!

We have graduated to everyone eating "big pizza" (not cut up).  Game changer!!!

It was freezing cold and pouring rain the next morning so we decided to try out the indoor trampoline park.

Kate literally jumped the whole hour with Greer.  Whenever I tried to jump with her she said "No! I want to jump with Tia".

James, Harrison, Georgia, and Kate LOVED this place.  Andrew completely hated it and had a massive freak out so my mom ended up having to take him out.  Seems like we can never make everyone happy at the same time.

We came home and Harrison had been begging to play Pie Face Show Down which he had convinced Ryan to buy me for Christmas lol.

Is she a great sport or what?

Before long it was time to go. A great ending to the Christmas season!
