2015 Year End Review

2015- What a year! I would never have guessed all that we had in store for us last January.  There were definitely some bumps along the road but we sure ended on a high note. Here are some of the highlights and big events from this past year.

January-  Ryan convinced me to go with him to a conference in Vail which ended up being one of our favorite getaways we have done so far.

February-  We had our scariest parenting moment so far when Harrison had a seizure and stopped breathing. First time to call 911 and first ambulance ride for anyone in our family. (little did we know that this would be the first of FOUR ambulance rides this year in our family!!!) Not a good memory but one we will never forget.  On a happier note we also had a day with real snow which was so much fun!

March-  Ryan had another conference in Orlando so we took James to Disney World.  Shortly after we came home I found out I was pregnant!

April-  Ryan and I got the shock of our lives when we found out we were having TWINS!!!  We were almost as excited when Harrison became potty trained that month as well. :)

May- Our sweet nephew Davison was born!!! He has given our family so much joy!

June- Second biggest surprise of the year- We are having boy/girl twins!  Harrison also turned 2!

July- We tried to soak up as much time as we could as a family of 4 and we also moved the boys into one room.  Ryan and I went away for one last weekend getaway in Charleston.

August-  I got put on partial and then complete bedrest.  James turned 5!

September- Andrew and Katherine were born 11 weeks early. All of our lives were turned upside down as we tried to balance four kids, in two different cities, while dealing with their medical issues.

October- The babies got transferred to the hospital in town, Kate got to come home, and we had a super fun Halloween with the boys.

November-  After 72 days in the hospital our prayers were answered and Andrew FINALLY came home on what may be the most special Thanksgiving ever.

December-  After not having any kind of "normal" in our family since July, we starting getting into a new groove as a family of six.  We enjoyed all sorts of fun and special Christmas memories together.
