First Week of School

Five days before the boys started back to preschool my doctor switched me from modified to complete bed rest and I boo-hooed for about 24 hours about multiple things but one at the top of the list was that I was going to miss taking the boys to their first day of school. Thankfully my mom was able to come take them and the teachers at their school were super sweet about the whole situation.

Harrison looks real excited about this...
That's a little better!

I broke the bed rest rules to at least come outside and take a selfie with my boys
Harrison refused to be in the picture but at least James was willing

I debated for a long time about what to do with James this year. He is definitely ready for kindergarten but I just never felt peace about him starting it this year. After a lot of thought and prayer we decided to put him in the T-K class at his preschool.  Over the past week it has been so obvious to me that this was definitely where he needs to be considering all that our family is going through right now. He is in a familiar, loving environment with a lot of flexibility for our situation.  I'm so thankful for the confirmation and peace that God has given me about it!

Mom said he went right in like it was nothing. So proud of my big boy!

This was something he made the first day and I assume that is me in the picture.
2 of Harrison's teachers- Ms. Lisa and Ms. Kelly. We didn't get a picture with Ms. Janet and Ms. Jen but he loves all of them!

Why'd you have to go on full bed rest??
